All journeys begin with a thought, an idea. Maiden Knowledge captures the essence of going inwards and listening deeply to an inner voice before acting in the physical. The deep browns and golds speak to the beautiful sturdy foundations of the Earth that Mother Nature supplies. By reconnecting with what is natural, what is golden, we can begin to move forward in our human experience. This piece uses smooth brush strokes in combination with Freeform drips, which hints at both order and chaos- Movement and stillness. Both are needed to summon the courage within to move forward.
